Principal / Teacher

Katie is a Qualified Level 4 teacher with the IDTA  (6 Distinctions), holds a Certification in Progressing Ballet technique (PBT) , IDTA Anatomy & Physiology Diploma, Paediatric first Aid, fully CRB checked, qualified with a Theatrical makeup and wigs Diploma, NVQ level 3 in Childcare and has 13 years experience working backstage at Milton Keynes Theatre. Katie began dancing at the age of 4 locally with Kathleen Woollard (RAD Presidents award) and Myra Tiffin (ISTD Chairman/Senior examiner). Achieving Major grades in Ballet, Tap and Modern dance, Katie was also a demonstrator for the RAD and ISTD. Alongside this she was an Associate of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and was chosen by Sir Peter Wright to perform in his new production of the “Nutcracker” at the Birmingham Hippodrome. Katie then continued her training at Tring Park and also successfully auditioned to perform with the Lewis London Ballet (Janet Lewis – English Youth Ballet) in their production of “The Nutcracker”. Katie has been involved on and off stage with local performance companies; Roundabout Theatre and MKAOS. She directed “The Wedding Singer” at Stantonbury Theatre.

Peter is a Professional Actor and Musical Theatre Performer and Teacher. He holds an IDTA Musical Theatre Teaching Diploma (Distinction), an IDTA Anatomy & Physiology Diploma and works professionally on stage, TV, Film, Milton Keynes Theatre and is a teacher of Singing and Musical Theatre at Milton Keynes College. He is qualified in Paediatric first Aid, and holds a full Chaperones Licence. Peter has recently appeared in a Facebook Privacy Ad for all online platforms and billboards around the country, a Promo for “Drag SOS” on Channel 4 and Odeon Cinema. A new Musical “Quantum” at the Edinburgh Fringe, and in feature films “Goodbye Mary” and “Listen” His other major credits include:- Priest / Understudy Jesus – Jesus Christ Superstar UK & Ireland Tour, Really Useful Group Sammy – Blood Brothers UK & Ireland Tour, and West End, Bill Kenwright Ltd Soldier / Announcer – Men Who March Away, Damatico Productions, Mike Batt

Jos is a Associate of the ISTD, qualified in Ballet, Tap, Modern and National. She is also fully qualified in safeguarding, is a fitness instructor and is a trainer for basic life support, choking and anaphylaxis. Having danced herself from the age of 7, Jos is an experienced dance teacher with over 25 years experience teaching children of all ages and capabilities from beginners to advanced adults. Jos studied dance and teaching under ISTD examiner Maureen Headford at Bournemouth. Having studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, National, Spanish and Ballroom, she is a fully qualified teacher. Since qualifying, Jos has been teaching in some of the most prestigious schools for UK examiners. With an excellent eye for detail, Miss Jos has 100% pass rate with all her pupils in dance exams across all disciplines, achieving the highest grades.
